TestFlight Waitlist Signup

When you join our TestFlight waitlist, we collect:

  • Email Address (required): Used to send TestFlight invitations

This information is collected through Netlify Forms and stored securely on Netlify's infrastructure.

How We Use Your Information

TestFlight Waitlist Data

We use your email and name solely for:

  • Sending TestFlight beta invitations
  • Communicating important updates about the beta program

App Usage Data

We collect information about how many users subscribe to each RSS feed in order to optimize our feed retrieval system. Feeds with more subscribers are checked for updates more frequently, ensuring timely delivery of new content.

This data is collected in aggregate form (subscriber counts per feed) and is not linked to your personal identity.

We will never:

  • Sell your information to third parties
  • Send you marketing emails unrelated to Celestra
  • Share your information except as required by law
  • Track which specific articles you read

Data Storage and Security

The Celestra App

When you use the Celestra iOS app (currently in beta):

  • RSS Feed Data: Stored locally on your device and in your private iCloud account
  • Reading Data: Synced via iCloud across your devices
  • Feed Subscription Counts: We track how many users subscribe to each feed to optimize our refresh system. Popular feeds are updated more frequently to ensure timely content delivery.
  • No Personal Reading Tracking: We do not track which specific articles you read or your individual reading habits
  • No Accounts: The app does not require creating an account or providing personal information

Celestra is designed with privacy in mind. Your RSS feed content and reading data remain on your devices and in your personal iCloud storage. We only collect subscriber counts per feed for system optimization purposes.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the information we have about you
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your information at any time
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Unsubscribe: Opt out of TestFlight communications at any time

Third-Party Services
